{ Chellene and J.P. }

I've been wanting to photograph an engagement session in the water. If some of you saw my last posting on the engagement session in the fountain that we did with Queila and Hugo. Like most of the weeks we are out on location for photo shoot whether it is for a wedding, engagements or portraits we are always on location (I enjoyed it though! the best part of my job). So this week is like no other I had 2 sessions last Sunday, and a total of 4 last week alone. One of them was Chellene and JP.

We met Chellene 2 years ago for a preview with another bride, Mimi (that time she do not have a date yet for the wedding) and about I think 6 months ago when we finally sure that we are doing her wedding. We set the date up for the engagement which was last Sunday in Rollins College. We had breakfast together first in Panera the we proceeded with the photoshoot. Chellene and JP is a good looking couple and very playful so I am sure that I will get a very good shot of them. We went to downtown Winetr Park, driving around or walking to take shots. Downtown Winter park has lots of characters with old buildings, lots of brick, really neat store fronts etc. - I could shoot there for days!

We ended the soot at the fountain which I love. They said it would be okay and up we go. I was a little worried that it will rain but it just remain overcast giving me a beautiful light. While we were heading to the fountain, my wife and I are brainstorming on ideas on how this shoot can be different from Queila and Hugo's that we shot a week ago so my wife mentioned about the umbrella, so it can give it a variation and different dimension to it. Chellene totally got into the mood and J.P. was just great, doing everything that I asked, swing Chellene, twirl around, even taking the shirt off! (to give an intimate feel to it). I was so happy with the result and I really got what I was aiming for. See some shots on top of the post. The shot turn out to be our favorite. I can't wait to shoot their wedding in November.
