Kerry and Jeff's wedding. I was amazed with Kerri, she did a wonderful job designing her wedding. From the bouquet to her veil, very creative. Their wedding took place at the Portofino Bay hotel. As some of you know POrtofino Bay is one of my favorite hotel in Orlando because it looks like a miniature Italy, my hometown.
Back to the wedding... When I was shooting this pictures, I was excited because I know I had great shots. Kerri and Jeff decided to see each other before the ceremony, a blessing that makes any photographers job easier. So the wedding started like this, the bride Kerri and her bridemaids were preparing for the big day. They had this big room at Portofino which has a piano in the center. After she got dressed we decided to take a picture on top of the piano barefooted, (she was a sport) she continue to say that she trusted us and is willing to do what we asked for a great pictures. If you saw the first picture on this post, you will see that her feet is touching the piano keys, it was great. Kerri and Jeff's daughter Maya and Son Josh is the flower girl and the ring bearer respectively. Maya have this wonderful big green eyes with freckles on her face just waiting for everybody to get ready hugging her bear and Josh, the little 3 year old man wearing a tuxedo. They are a very cute pair, what a blessing for both Kerri and Jeff.
After everybody got ready, we went to the bay where Kerri and Jeff decided to see each other for the very first time. We went around Portofino to take more shots. Then headed back in for the cremony. Their vows where exchanged with I would guess 40-50 close family and friends and headed to the reception folowing the cremeony. They have this Candy bar set-up full of goodies! who cannot resist the call of the chocolate or any sweets for that matter??? Then the night goes and dinner was served. The newlyweds requested me to take more pictures of them in teh harbor overlooking the sunset what a treat! no need for me to ask, I was very excited. So I asked my wife (who is assising) to gather the equipments. My wife Cecily, is actually on the picture, you just cannot see her. She is behind Kerri and Jeff, flashing away her light. The result gave me this unbelievable color of the sky so I positioned them one that is overlooking the harbor and one with the buildings and light on the background.
. I was loving it, so we went around again and took more shots. We then headed back again to the reception ballroom and we savor this fish and chicken dinner with the sides of veggies and tortellini pasta. It was amazing, a much well deserved thanks to Kerri and Jeff for thinking about us and compliments to the Chef of Portofino, you cannot make the tomatoe any sweeter than that! Aftert the cake has been cut, the bride and groom danced their night away.... Congratulation to both of them!!! It was an honor.
Here's a slideshow of some of the images!
